Description
Trophoblast organoids are grown with the syncytiotrophoblast (STB) facing inward (STBin), outward (STBout), or induced to differentiate into extravillous trophoblasts (EVTenrich). Cytotrophoblasts (CTBs, in pink), EVTs (in blue), and the STB (in green).
