Theoretical bioremediation treatment of plastic waste
Description
Firstly, the mixture of plastic waste is mechanically shredded to have easier to handle fragments. These need to be depolymerized which can be done by pyrolysis or biologically. Subsequently, the depolymerization products are poured into a new fermenter where they are used as feedstock to obtain products of interest through microbial fermentation.
