The vernalization pathway responses in annual plant of Arabis alpina

Description

In A. alpina, flowering repression is controlled by PEP1, influencing SOC1 and LEAFY genes. miR156 suppresses flowering by reducing SPLs. With age, miR156 decreases, boosting SPLs and miR172, while PEP2, regulated by miR172, sustains PEP1 to keep plants vegetative.
