The Hippo Tumor-suppressor Pathway
Description
This template was adapted from the original submission. Edits were made to enhance scientific accuracy, optimal usability and/or to meet industry-leading design standards for science communication.
Hippo kinase pathway in Drosophila melanogaster. Active Yki enters the nucleus and induces transcription to promote cell growth and cell proliferation. Activation of Hippo phosphorylates and activates Mats and Sav, which phosphorylate Wts. Active P-Wts phosphorylates Yki, blocking its entrance to the nucleus.
