SARS-CoV-2: How is the Virus Spread?

Description

This template was adapted from the original submission. Edits were made to enhance scientific accuracy, optimal usability and/or to meet industry-leading design standards for science communication. COVID-19 can be spread quickly. When an infected person coughs or sneezes, thousands of microscopic droplets containing the virus are generated. Additionally, the spike proteins of COVID-19 bind with high affinity to the mucins of the mucus that line the airways.
