RNA Sequencing is a powerful method for quantifying the sequences of RNA molecules in a sample, allowing a comprehensive view of the transcriptome. The template illustrates the main steps of RNA-seq which are: isolation of RNA from a sample, fragmentation of RNA into small pieces, conversion of RNA into cDNA, sequencing the cDNA fragments using NGS, and aligning the sequence data to a reference genome to quantify transcripts.
