Pseudouridylation (w), 5-methylcytosine (m5C), N6-methyladenosine (m6A), N4-acetylcytidine (ac4C), and adenosine-to-inosine RNA editing (A-to-I editing) are major types of RNA modifications that have been implicated in cardiac disease.
