Preparing a Bacterial Lawn Culture for Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (AST)
Description
This template depicts the processes for creating a bacterial lawn culture for antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST) by disc diffusion. It includes the creation of a bacterial suspension (by picking colonies from the nutrient agar the bacteria of choice was cultured on) and the use of the bacterial suspension to create the bacterial lawn using a rotary plater to assist with the distribution of bacteria across the entire Mueller Hinton agar (MHA) plate.
