Predictive Modelling for Biomaterial Design for Tissue Regeneration
Description
Process for designing biomaterials. A model determines the optimal hydrogel elastic modulus. Hydrogel is fabricated using cell suspension, alginate, and calcium ions. Matrix stiffness, affected by alginate and calcium, influences cell behaviour. Stiff matrices cause inflammation and stress, while compliant matrices enhance ECM production and cell migration. This process aims to maximize tissue regeneration for clinical use.
