Perivascular adipose tissue
Description
The perivascular adipose tissue (PVAT) , is a fat that surrounds the arteries. PVAT is regionally different, showing similarities to brown adipose tissue in thoracic aorta, and white adipose tissue in abdominal aorta and mesenteric arteries.
