Microenvironment of Multiple Myeloma
Description
Complex interplay between myeloma cells and the cellular components of the bone marrow microenvironment. Osteoclast helps to invade bones that helps to survive in bone marrow. mesanchimal stromal cells helps to feed myeloma cells that produce so much protein and consumpt so much energy. also helps for vascular support by angiogenesis. mesanchimal stromal cells transforms CD4+ T helper cells to Treg cells by cytokins. Treg cells protect myeloma cells from NK and CD8+ T cells.
