Description
Immune response: A) Innate (non-specific; response 0>96 hours); Adaptive (highly specific; V(D)J recombination, slow effective response, from 7 to 14 days, to a new pathogen. During adaptive immune response memory lymphocytes generated (Immunological memory). B) During the re-infection the adaptive immunity mount rapid and effective response, but innate immunity response mechanism remain the same.
