Description
Among the options for preserving female fertility: Immature and/or mature oocytes are extracted, the immature ones are matured, and both are vitrified. Afterwards, they are thawed and used to fertilize the egg and generate embryos that can be vitrified. Another option is cryopreservation of ovarian tissue for subsequent reimplantation in the ovary.
