Estradiol and Progesterone Levels in Women
Description
Depicted are the estrogen and progesterone levels in women over their lifespans. Estrogen rises until an average age of 40 years and then gradually declines until it reaches a minimum level during menopause (from age 60 on).
Progesterone similarly increases in the early life-time, reaching a maximum at around 30 years and then declining towards the entry of menopause.
