Engineering of Tough Double Network Hydrogels
Description
Double network hydrogels are a class of hydrogels that possess a unique structure consisting of two interpenetrating networks. The first network is a stiff, load-bearing network of crosslinked polymer chains, while the second network is a soft, deformable network of polymer chains that can absorb large amounts of water.
