Description
The main effector functions of neutrophils, which provide antimicrobial protection of the body, are presented. Among them are phagocytosis - the absorption and digestion of bacteria in phagolysosomes, degranulation - the release of the contents of granules into the extracellular space, and neutrophil extracellular traps - the release of decondensed chromatin and granules into the extracellular space with the formation of networks into which bacteria enter and die
