Effect of Small EVs on Cells: The MTS Assay
Description
The MTS assay evaluates the impact of small extracellular vesicles (EVs) on cell viability and proliferation. Cells are cultured under standard conditions, seeded onto well plates, exposed to varying EV concentrations for specified durations, and then incubated for 24-48 hours. Following this, they're treated with the MTS reagent for 3 hours, and absorbance of the formazan product is measured using a microplate reader at approximately 490 nm.
