Effect of miRNA polymorphism on male and female infertility and recurrent implantation failure
Description
SNPs in microRNA genes and their target binding sites can elevate the risk of complex genetic diseases such as infertility. Pregnancy includes egg release, fertilization, egg travel to the uterus, and embryo attachment. Infertility factors affect the reproductive system, often with unknown causes. This study aimed to investigate the role of miRNA polymorphism in male infertility (azoospermia, oligospermia) and female infertility (endometriosis), as well as frequent implantation failure in IVF.
