Duolink Protein Ligation Assay
Description
Protein-protein interactions can be measured using the Duolink Protein Ligation Assay (PLA). Briefly, primary antibodies associated with proteins of interest, are incubated with fixed tissue. Duolink secondary antibody probes conjugated with complementary DNA oligos are then added and will form a double-stranded DNA circle if the proteins are <30 nm apart. Signal amplification with polymerase will then produce a fluorescent transcript and denote protein proximity.
