Distinct layers of the retina and choroid.
Description
Retina: The retina is the innermost layer of the eye, lining the posterior portion of the eyeball.
Choroid:The choroid is situated between the retina and the sclera (the outermost layer of the eye).
In summary, while the retina is responsible for detecting and processing visual information, the choroid primarily functions in supplying blood and nutrients to the retina and maintaining the overall health of the eye.
