dCas9-KRAB Transcriptional Repression System
Description
This base template provides a general overview of a CRISPR/dCas9 transcriptional repression system. dCas9 protein is in complex with a KRAB protein (a transcription repressor), binding to a specific DNA sequence guided by sgRNA. This CRISPR-mediated system allows regulation of gene expression. This template can be used as a starting point for more complex workflows that use CRISPR/dCas9 systems as transcriptional repressors.
