CUT&RUN Procedure
Description
This template was adapted from the original submission. Edits were made to enhance scientific accuracy, optimal usability and/or to meet industry-leading design standards for science communication.
Cleavage under targets and release using nuclease (CUT&RUN) is a technique used to generate high-resolution epigenetic profiles of histone marks and transcription factors (TFs). It utilizes specific antibodies against the target of interest and helps to recruit the A-protein G micrococcal nuclease (pAG-MNase) fusion protein for specific chromatin cleavage. Released DNA fragments are sequenced by next-generation sequencing. CUT&RUN is a simple alternative to chromatin immunoprecipitation.
