Classification and properties of lipoproteins
Description
The molecular weight of lipoproteins increases in the following order: HDL, LDL, IDL, and VLDL. The average physiological concentration of these lipoproteins in plasma is approximately 45-70 mg/dl for HDL, 85-130 mg/dl for LDL, and 5-15 mg/dl for VLDL.
