Brain organoids in hiPSC studies
Description
Briefly, iPSCs aggregate to form embryoid bodies and are transferred to neural induction mediums to form neuroepithelium. Subsequently, neuroepithelial tissues are transferred to Matrigel and bioreactors to allow neuroepithelial buds to grow and form brain organoids by self-organization. Subsequently, brain organoids can be used for disease modelling, drug development and personalized medicine.
