Antibody Probing via gold conjugate
Description
Immuno-gold labeling on embedded sample section surface for subcellular visualization of an antigen. Antigen-specific primary antibody (primary labeled antibody) binds to antigen (e.g. anti glutathione rabbit IgG ), excess primary antibody is washed off; gold-conjugated secondary antibody (e.g. goat anti rabbit IgG) binds to primary antibody in a second labeling step. Gold particles are visualized as electron-dense particles by TEM.
