Activation of Xanthophyllomyces dendrorhous
Description
The activation of a yeast was carried out in the YPD control medium, adding 0.75g of yeast extract, 1.5g of peptone, 7.5g of dextrose and 3.75g of agar, in 150 ml of distilled water. Subsequently, the medium was sterilized and the pH was adjusted to 6, where Xanthophyllomyces dendrorhous was inoculated and incubated at a temperature of 20C.
