Activation of the glucose receptor Glut-4 by insulin.
Description
Insulin binds to its receptor on the cell surface, initiating a cascade of signals that lead to the translocation of GLUT-4 transporters from intracellular vesicles to the cell membrane. This process facilitates glucose uptake into the cell, regulating blood sugar levels.
