Antibody Targeting in Eosinophil-Associated Diseases
Description
This template was adapted from the original submission. Edits were made to enhance scientific accuracy, optimal usability and/or to meet industry-leading design standards for science communication.
This template summarizes the mechanisms of action of different antibodies in eosinophil-associated diseases. The list of therapeutic agents includes: antibodies against IL-5, IL-5 receptor alpha (IL-5Ra), CCL-11 released by T-helper cells, Siglec-8 (Sialic Acid-Binding Immunoglobulin Like Lectin-8), and EMR1 (EGF module-containing mucin-like receptor-1). These antibodies have been approved for the treatment of eosinophil-associated diseases, and are being evaluated in clinical trials or in preclinical tests.
