BIORENDER CONTEST OFFICIAL RULES
(“OFFICIAL RULES”)
1. Eligibility: The contest (the “Contest”) is open to legal residents of the United States who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, and agents of the contest sponsor and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and any other entity involved in the development or administration of the contest, as well as the immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of such employees, officers, directors, and agents, are not eligible to enter or win. The Contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
2. Entry Period: The Contest begins on October 1, 2023 and ends on October 31, 2023 (the "Entry Period").
3. How to Enter: NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY. Participants can enter the contest by posting their science communicator personality quiz results to their Twitter or LinkedIn updates and tagging BioRender in their post. Entries must be received during the Entry Period. By entering, each participant fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these Official Rules.
4. Winner Selection: The winner(s) will be selected by a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The drawing will be conducted on or about November 15th by the contest sponsor or its designee, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to the contest. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period.
5. Prize(s): The winner(s) will receive a BioRender t-shirt with free shipping. The total approximate retail value of the prize(s) is USD $15. The prize(s) are non-transferable and no cash or other substitutions are allowed. The Contest Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize(s) becomes unavailable. Any prize returned as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected.
6. Notification and Verification of Winners: The winner(s) will be notified via BioRender’s written reply the winner’s post or a direct message to the winner on Twitter or LinkedIn within seven (7) days of the drawing. To claim the prize(s), the winner(s) must respond to BioRender’s notification within seven (7) days of notification and provide all requested information in order to claim the prize. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
7. General Conditions: By entering the Contest, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Contest Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects. The Contest Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these Official Rules or interferes with the contest in any manner. The contest sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries or for any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of entries. The contest sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest at any time without notice.
8. Privacy: Any personal information collected from participants in connection with the Contest will be used in accordance with BioRender’s privacy policy, which can be found at https://www.biorender.com/privacy.
9. Governing Law: The Contest is governed by and subject to the laws of New York, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.
10. Winner List: To obtain a copy of the winner(s) list, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the address below within thirty (30 days of the end of the Entry Period.
